Small Town Pride

I am drawn to Pride events in small towns. The scale makes them feel more personal and rooted in the place around them. Away from the crowds of the larger parades, there is more room for small interactions, familiar faces and quieter moments. There is something about seeing Pride become part of an ordinary town for a day and be visible in a small community where it may not normally.
